Is Mumbai Indians gambling with Indian young talent?

It`s been four years since the well heeled Indian premier league has started. 9 teams one target just to rock the cricketing nation with money. But the BCCI is claiming that the ipl creates platform for Indian young gunners to register their name in the Indian national team. And much importantly that is happening since the start of Indian premier league in mid 2008.  But the players who are doing well in IPL always miss out when they are needed in Indian line up. But that`s not my point of view. I am going to start my narration of the story with my favorite IPL team “THE MUMBAI INDIANS”.

Every team has become money minded and they are trying their level best to win the ipl. And among all Mumbai Indians do a lot of experiments. Why I am telling this because since 2009 Mumbai is putting emphasis on foreign players only. They are building a lot of bench strength and most of them are strong overseas.

They bought lots of players since 2010 players auction. Including some big names like keiron pollard,  Andrew Symonds, Rohit Sharma,Devy Jacobs,Aiden Blizzard,James Franklin, Ray Price etc, and in this year they lagged behind Andre Russel, Ravindra Jadeja,Brendon McCullum not got them.

Sachin Tendulkar for Mumbai Indians
They got some complements like Divested batsman Herschelle Gibbs, Thishara Parera, Mitchell Jhonson and also they negotiated players like Pragyan Ojha and Dinesh Karthik from india. And very recently when Symonds declared his retirement they replaced him with south African new talent Richard Levi  and just after his very first big innings against the black cap New Zealand.

But due to this the talent of young Mumbai`s future is in danger. They will fill the line up with much stronger side, and for which the uncapped players can`t get a single chance to play in any fixture. So without watching any talent india can miss some young stars which can be a big blow in future.

So in my point of view IPL council should think more and more about the inclusion of very large no. of foreign players.  And after that they should also make a limit of selling international Indian players to a single team and with that can IPL will be a good platform for young stars. After this every team will look a bit rich and strong. People will enjoy much after measuring every team strong. It would rather add much spice to the tournament and a futuristic background for many Indian lads.
